Enjoy the vibrant sounds of two of the most creative and exciting artists from the Diaspora: Rafiya and Isaac Katalay. Don’t miss the chance to catch these two electric performers share the stage at Shrine in New York on Saturday June 1st.

About Rafiya

Rafiya is an AfroSoul singer who has dedicated her life to making music; making people smile, dance and think. Born in Los Angeles, she lived in Cape Verde, Benin, Senegal, Guinea, Barbados and Cote d’Ivoire and was influenced musically by her experiences in each country. Rafiya writes and sings about the human experience in French and English but regardless of your native tongue, her passion translates itself in the melody. Parlez-vous Rafiya?

About Isaac Katalay

Isaac Katalay is an artist and orator whose main objective is to promote the beauty of connections in humanity. Born in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and now living in New York City, His music represents the blending of two worlds. For the past two decades, the artist has worked as an ensemble musician, choreographer, dancer, and speaker.
