12622020_1076915109026227_899885843431048526_oANTHONY MORGAN  was  born and raised in Harlem a multi-talented artist in his own right; he started singing at a late age of 21 in college at his musical theater company. In 1991 He formed his first band called Truth and Honesty and toured with The House of Blues Night clubs and Harlem owns Copeland’s soul food restaurant. Anthony was well known for being the heart and soul of the World’s Famous Harlem Choir at The BB King Blues Club and Grill Gospel Brunch for 8 years in Time Square. In 2008, Anthony patiently and carefully selected some of the most unique voices in New York and founded The Anthony Morgan’s Inspirational Choir of Harlem (AMICOH)The Harlem Spirit of Gospel and is Creative director of the Boys and Girls Choir of Harlem. Known for their versatile sound, they ministers through the gift of song, ranging from Gospel, to Pop and R&B. AMICOH brings their love of God and music to the stage. They come with impressive credits with their name. AMICOH has circled the globe to visit many diverse places, sharing the gifts God has given them. This includes: The Rachael Ray Show with Mary Tyler Moore, The Dr OZ show, The Auditorium of Rome, Teatro Smeraldo ,Theatre Academy of Conegliano Vento , the telecast SCALO 76, transmitted by Rai 2 and 8 years till Present of unforgettable sold-out tours in Europe where the enthusiastic audiences sang, danced and were completely captivated!  1511488_675709849116938_1225324438_nThey have recorded and toured with numerous prominent gospel and secular artists and in many other countries.  They have been featured in various productions  venues, workshops master classes and seminars. Having been greatly rewarded by all of these accomplishments, they now look forward to their new journey with Anthony Morgan’s Inspirational Choir of Harlem the Harlem Spirit of Gospel!

Two original tracks, Daniel and Reya Congo, offer a hypnotic take on tribal house, and feature the vocal talents of frequent collaborator Nandi Ndlovu. Next to the 2 original tracks, are remixes from an international cast of club luminaries including German luso music aficionado Daniel Haaksman, Angolan afrohouse duo Homeboyz Music, and Mozambican best kept secret producer/DJ Freddy Da Stupid.

The single release is accompanied by a beautiful and trippy music video for ‘Daniel’ shot on location in Mozambique by acclaimed young photographer/director Kent Andreasen.

February will see Batuk performing in Berlin, Zurich, and Geneva.

Born in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo where he spent one half of his life before moving to New York City USA in 1996, music became Isaac’s path to navigate the world. With a family of traditional healers, and faith varying from Christianity to Islam, music is Isaac’s corner stone, which holds fragments of his identity together.
